Halifax Connects On May 29, 2011
Non-Profit Organization · Halifax, nova scotia
On May 29, 2011, we are pleased to announce that once again we will be hosting Halifax Connects. With a bright new facility to use at Citadel High School in their Community Gym, we hope to welcome even more participants for a day of information and services. Our hope is to offer many of the same services as the October event, and some new ones too! Some of these services will include the Hair Salon, Hot Lunch, Medical Centre, and Clothing Distribution.

In October 2010, over 100 volunteers at Halifax Connects welcomed 512 participants to the city’s first multi-discipline service and health care event. More than 50 organizations met with participants and offered their services and support in a fun, relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
Everyone is welcome to attend Halifax Connects. There is no fee to come in, and nobody will be turned away. If you could use a free hair cut, a hot meal, or want to learn more about various agencies and services that are offered in Halifax, please join us on Sunday May 29 at 9:00 AM.
If you are an agency or donor who would like to get involved, please contact us. We would love to hear from you.
The mission of Halifax Connects is to provide participants with the opportunity to connect with services, resources and information that will support them with any challenges they may face.
